Downslope with Hector and the twins.

Good things come from unexpected places. There's the past, bobbling along cheerfully enough in its wee box, when some familiar dot-matrix spills the contents everywhere.

Meanwhile, we discover that one of the problems with an ordered life is that if you don't mesh with the escapement, there's no point waiting for a turn on the merry-go-round.

However, there's enough slop in the gearing to make the hard left turn to the right. (Violence in the streets)
